Because of you, Moffitt is pioneering life-changing treatments that were once not thought possible. You provide crucial seed funding for Moffitt’s most innovative research ideas — those for which public funding is often the hardest to secure. These budding projects and groundbreaking ideas pave the way for Moffitt scientists to obtain larger peer-reviewed grants and expand their therapies to more patients.

Education and Training
Moffitt educates more oncology professionals than every other institution in the state of Florida combined. As a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, education is a fundamental part of our core mission. Moffitt also provides numerous educational opportunities to other physicians and other health care professionals, international visiting scholars, and students.

Outreach and Awareness
Moffitt conducts outreach programs that provide health education in the areas of prevention, early detection, and screening. Thousands of people participate in Moffitt’s outreach programs each year. They can then continue to share the knowledge and resources across their own communities.

Patient and Family Support
Moffitt brings help and hope to patients and their families throughout all stages of treatment and survivorship. Its programs include supportive care addressing physical and emotional needs, palliative care, pet therapy, arts-in-medicine opportunities, and holistic body-mind wellness practices including yoga, meditation and acupuncture.
